Field Service Engineer II - Remote

Overview

The Field Engineer II will perform preventative maintenance, installations, troubleshooting, and repairs on life-changing medical equipment for hospitals or healthcare systems.

In Short

• Serve as GE Healthcare lead to assigned customers
• Complete troubleshooting, installation, validation, maintenance, and service repair needs
• Maintain communication with customers to ensure satisfaction
• Engage with team members regarding customer issues
• Recommend value-added services to customers
• Maintain customer service logs and internal service records
• Identify business opportunities for the organization
• Complete on-time and accurate Preventative Maintenance
• May include application training of clinical staff
• Experience with PCS equipment

Requirements

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in relevant engineering field
• 2+ years of experience servicing medical equipment
• Experience diagnosing and repairing diagnostic imaging equipment
• Experience with Web applications and Microsoft products
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 35 lbs.
• Valid Driver’s License required
• Willingness to work on-call and after hours
• Experience in at least one diagnostic imaging modality
