Overview

The Technical Account Manager (TAM) serves as the primary technical point of contact for customers, driving product onboarding, adoption, and value attainment while integrating HashiCorp tools into their software development stacks.

In Short

  • Responsible for customer success throughout the customer journey.
  • Act as a subject matter expert for customer usage of HashiCorp tools.
  • Maintain understanding of the HashiCorp technology portfolio.
  • Document customer goals and provide tailored solutions.
  • Ensure timely account health updates in Gainsight.
  • Collaborate with sales teams to mitigate customer risks.
  • Work with product and engineering teams to translate customer needs.
  • Lead recovery actions for escalated customers.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in technical account management or related fields.
  • Proficiency in software development, operations, and cloud technologies.
  • Knowledge of HashiCorp tools like Terraform and Vault.
  • Exceptional communication skills and experience in technical content delivery.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic environment focused on customer service.
  • Experience in project planning and implementation of technical products.
  • Fluency in understanding customer challenges and providing solutions.
  • Comfort working remotely with a high level of independence.
