Overview

The Director & Assistant Actuary will lead the Personal Insurance actuarial team focused on loss ratio performance for the Homeowners line of business, analyzing data and projecting future loss ratios while collaborating with various teams.

Requirements

  • Undergraduate degree in mathematics, actuarial science, or related field.
  • FCAS preferred, but relevant experience is accepted.
  • Minimum 5 years of actuarial experience in property and casualty insurance.
  • Knowledge of actuarial pricing techniques.
  • High proficiency in Excel; experience with R/SQL is preferred.
  • Strong analytical and technical skills.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to collaborate and influence at different organizational levels.
  • Independently motivated and detail-oriented.
