Overview

The Sales Engineer lives and works in the intersection between sales and engineering, ensuring success with all Harness customers and strategizing with their sales counterparts.

  • World class presentation skills in delivering presentations/demos of our platform
  • Able to work with customers directly to debug common errors
  • Ability to tie business problems to technical solutions
  • Capable of understanding and articulating technology value propositions
  • Drive complex technical engagements with customers to prove the value of Harness solutions
  • Responsible for delivering great product demonstrations
  • Represent the product to customers and at field events
  • Remain knowledgeable on changes and developments in technologies
  • Strong cloud knowledge and experience with infrastructure automation
  • Respond to functional and technical elements of RFIs/RFPs

Requirements

  • Experience in software development or DevOps roles
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to travel throughout a sales territory
  • Knowledge of Terraform and cloud technologies
  • Experience in customer engagement and technical support
