Overview

Navantia UK is seeking an experienced and driven Head of Industrial Security to lead and manage all aspects of protective security across the organisation. This pivotal role ensures the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information and assets, while aligning with business goals and compliance obligations.

In Short

• Oversee vetting, training, and incident reporting for personnel security.
• Advise on physical security measures and access controls.
• Manage classified information throughout its lifecycle.
• Collaborate with Cyber Security teams to address risks.
• Develop and audit security policies and processes.
• Ensure security compliance within supply chain contracts.
• Monitor threats and conduct investigations.
• Design security awareness programmes.
• Manage Corporate and Port Facility Security Teams.
• Engage with UK Government and security agencies.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in a Defence or HMG environment.
• Deep understanding of UK Government Security Procedures.
• Experience with Physical Security Information Management Systems.
• Strong grasp of security disciplines and operations.
• Demonstrated leadership capability.
• Excellent communication and influencing skills.
• Strong analytical and decision-making abilities.
• Eligibility for UK National Security Vetting (SC level).
