Overview

As the Assistant Controller at Gurobi Optimization, you will be critical in overseeing financial operations for the company’s U.S. and corporate operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting and contributing to strategic financial planning.

In Short

• Manage the accounting close for U.S. operations and consolidated entity.
• Supervise a team handling global procurement process and U.S. payroll.
• Prepare and review general ledger transactions in accordance with U.S. GAAP.
• Manage Gurobi’s treasury process, including cash disbursements and bank reconciliations.
• Assist in managing financial systems and ERP software for accuracy and efficiency.
• Support the annual audit and assist tax specialists with compliance activities.
• Contribute to global budget and forecasting process.
• Assess impact of significant transactions like business acquisitions.
• Generate ad hoc reports as needed.

Requirements

• 5+ years in senior accountant or manager roles in private industry.
• CPA certification preferred but not required.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Proficiency in NetSuite or comparable ERP systems.
