Team Lead (Europe) Controlling - Remote

Overview

We are looking for a Team Lead (Europe) Controlling to join Gunnebo Markersdorf GmbH, offering a permanent position with remote work options.

In Short

• Lead a team of at least 5 employees in decentralized European companies.
• Prepare European reporting for the parent company.
• Coordinate various analyses and presentations for decision-making.
• Ensure monthly liquidity planning and support factoring.
• Assist the FP&A manager with budgeting and forecasting.
• Develop and coordinate the controlling team and standardize processes.
• Establish project controlling focusing on project margins and revenue recognition.
• Act as a sparring partner for the Finance Director in Europe.
• Collaborate closely with Accounting and FP&A for smooth month-end closing.
• Consult and support departments on financial issues and strategic decisions.
• Lead and participate in projects related to business developments and process improvements.
• Ensure compliance with corporate guidelines and regulations.
• This position requires a willingness to travel approximately 15-20% of the time.

Requirements

• Degree in Finance, Controlling, or a comparable qualification.
• Several years of experience in controlling, ideally with leadership experience in an international environment.
• Solid knowledge of IFRS 15 and project controlling.
• Very good English skills; additional European languages are a plus.
• Strong communication skills, teamwork, and assertiveness.
• Analytical thinking and structured work approach.
