The Gunnebo Group is a global leader in security solutions, offering innovative products and services for the secure storage of valuables. We seek a Senior Accountant to join our team remotely in Germany.

In Short

• Support and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements according to HGB and IFRS.
• Collaborate with and lead our external accounting service provider.
• Responsible for bookkeeping, especially reconciling previous years' balance sheets and income statements.
• Ensure proper accounting processes within the company.
• Support balance sheet and income statement analyses and derive recommendations.
• Act as a contact for auditors and tax advisors.
• Optimize and further develop accounting processes, especially in D365.
• Assist with tax and regulatory issues.
• Contribute to financial projects and digitalization topics.

Requirements

• Completed business studies or equivalent training.
• Several years of relevant experience in accounting, ideally in an international environment.
• Experience in change management and project accounting is desirable.
• Experience in supporting audits.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 is a plus.
• Proficient in preparing monthly and annual financial statements according to HGB and IFRS.
• Very good to good English skills in spoken and written form.
• Experience in international matrix organizations and process optimization.
• Proactive and analytical personality.
• Ideally, experience in change management processes in accounting.
