The Sales Operations Specialist (SOS) is a valuable resource for Regional Partners and Account Executives at GuidePoint Security, supporting sales and marketing efforts in a fast-paced environment.

In Short

  • Use Salesforce.com to generate quotes and track opportunities.
  • Respond to internal and external inquiries promptly.
  • Suggest creative pricing and payment solutions.
  • Serve as a liaison between customers, vendors, and sales executives.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key vendors and customers.
  • Attend regional forecast calls and perform pipeline analysis.
  • Manage multiple tasks with shifting priorities.
  • Work closely with other teams to streamline processes.
  • Assist with planning and coordinating marketing events.
  • Support new and renewal business in a quota-bearing environment.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required; Associate Degree preferred.
  • 3+ years in a customer service/sales support role; IT industry background preferred.
  • Experience with Salesforce.com and CRM software required.
  • Intermediate level experience with Microsoft Office.
  • Self-motivated with excellent prioritization abilities.
  • Outstanding attention to detail and commitment to follow-through.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work flexible hours required.
  • Solid math skills for calculating margins and discounts.
  • Ability to deal with ambiguity and maintain a positive attitude.
