• Provide psychiatric evaluations, diagnosis, medication management, and therapeutic support.
• Collaborate with other clinicians for holistic patient care.
• Conduct psychiatric evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Prescribe and manage psychiatric medications.
• Work closely with therapists and social workers to coordinate care.
• Provide crisis intervention and support when needed.
• Document patient interactions and treatment in accordance with policies.
• Educate patients and families about mental health conditions.
• Ensure compliance with legal and ethical standards.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of psychiatric care advancements.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Nursing (MSN) from an accredited program.
• Board certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) or Physician Assistant.
• Current, unrestricted state licensure in Massachusetts.
• Strong knowledge of mental health diagnoses and treatment modalities.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.
• Ability to work with diverse populations and demonstrate cultural competence.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Compassionate, empathetic, and patient-focused approach to care.
• Ability to manage complex cases and respond effectively to crises.
