Overview

As a Temporary Customer Service Guide at Guidehealth, you will be the trusted voice for our members and providers, helping them navigate the complex world of healthcare with empathy and clarity.

In Short

  • Serve as the first point of contact for members and providers.
  • Handle 30–40 calls per day along with chats, texts, and emails.
  • Educate customers on their health plans and digital tools.
  • Document all interactions thoroughly and maintain professionalism.
  • Work in a fast-paced environment while ensuring empathetic resolutions.
  • Follow HIPAA and confidentiality standards at all times.
  • Collaborate across teams for effective problem-solving.
  • Maintain a calm presence in high-volume situations.
  • Opportunity for growth into various roles within the company.
  • This is a temporary 12-week role with 40 hours per week.

Requirements

  • 2 years of experience in a healthcare contact center.
  • 3+ years of overall customer service experience.
  • Preferred Associate or Bachelor's degree.
  • Experience across multiple customer service channels.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to learn quickly and navigate multiple systems.
  • Empathetic approach to customer interactions.
