Overview

The Provider Operations Support Specialist provides day-to-day administrative and systems support to the Provider Operations team, assisting with provider credentialing activities, data maintenance, reporting, and member notifications.

In Short

• Assist with provider credentialing by collecting documentation and entering provider data.
• Maintain and update provider records to ensure accuracy.
• Support reporting requirements and complete health plan reports.
• Prepare and process member notifications related to network changes.
• Support website activations and updates for provider directories.
• Perform internal audits to validate data accuracy.
• Follow established workflows and escalate issues as needed.
• Complete additional administrative tasks for the Provider Operations team.

Requirements

• 1–2 years of experience in healthcare or provider network operations.
• Strong technical aptitude and ability to learn new systems quickly.
• High attention to detail in a compliance-driven environment.
• Comfort with structured data, data entry, and reports.
• Strong Excel skills; Access knowledge is a plus.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
