Temporary Customer Service Agent - Remote

Overview

Instant Teams is currently hiring Customer Service Agents to join a temporary project assisting Medicare-eligible retirees in selecting appropriate Medicare health plans. This position is fully remote and set to end in December 2025.

In Short

• Making outbound and inbound calls to assist customers.
• Answering inquiries regarding application status and general questions.
• Responding to live chat requests from customers.
• Helping customers navigate the website and self-service options.
• Documenting all conversations and actions taken.
• Must have at least 1 year of customer service experience.
• Knowledge of Medicare health plans preferred.
• Position requires on-camera visibility during meetings.
• Training is mandatory for 3 weeks.
• Position may extend based on performance.

Requirements

• High school degree or equivalent.
• Ability to hardwire equipment and meet internet speed requirements.
• 1+ years of customer service experience in a call center environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience using Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Active listening skills.
• Ability to multitask efficiently.
• Confidence during challenging interactions.
• Ability to talk and type simultaneously.
• Must be available for a mandatory training schedule.
