Overview

The OP CDI Specialist provides education on Risk Adjustment and Quality to healthcare providers, ensuring accurate coding practices and compliance with regulations.

• Subject matter expert in risk adjustment coding/documentation.
• Collaborate with departments to ensure compliance with CMS guidelines.
• Analyze MRA data to develop educational interventions for providers.
• Conduct training sessions on risk adjustment coding.

Requirements

• Certified through AAPC or equivalent.
• CPC or CRC certification required.
• 3 years of experience in risk adjustment coding.
• 2 years of experience in provider education.
• Familiarity with CMS regulations.
• Understanding of primary care coding and workflows.
• Experience with EHR systems (Epic, Cerner preferred).
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
