Overview

The primary purpose of the Director of Business Planning is to serve as an in-house consultant proactively assisting, informing, and advising the VP of Sales in all areas affecting operations, effectiveness, and performance of the sales force.

  • Obtain and synthesize feedback from multiple stakeholders to drive strategic decision-making.
  • Develop staff meeting agendas and monitor field sales spend.
  • Manage communications to the sales force and support internal meetings.
  • Act as sales liaison for tactical execution.
  • Support compliance adherence and training for the field sales team.
  • Handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
  • Utilize strong administrative skills to manage business operations.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in healthcare, with a focus on primary care physicians.
  • Experience in management consulting or analytical roles in pharma/biotech.
  • Ability to leverage insights to refine strategies.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce, Tableau, and other sales systems.
  • Strong PowerPoint and Excel capabilities.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.
  • Demonstrated integrity and positive attitude.
  • Valid driver’s license for field visits.
  • Ability to travel daily as needed.
