Overview

As a Merchant Consultant Representative, you will focus on full cycle management across a large portfolio of merchant accounts in Australia, optimizing deals and nurturing relationships.

In Short

  • Provide inbound support to merchants by resolving campaign or account issues.
  • Nurture and grow existing merchant relationships, including re-engaging former merchants through cold calling.
  • Develop familiarity with merchants' businesses and industries.
  • Facilitate revenue growth by optimizing and improving deals.
  • Consistently achieve or exceed sales targets and maintain high merchant satisfaction.
  • Conduct market research to identify new opportunities for merchant deals.
  • Develop and execute communications to educate and promote growth opportunities.
  • Utilize knowledge of deal structure and strategy to achieve desired outcomes.

Requirements

  • Experience upselling and reselling over the phone and cold calling.
  • Experience developing a large portfolio of accounts.
  • 1+ years of success in a sales environment.
  • Customer service, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Attention to detail and proven ability to multitask.
  • Strong decision-making skills and customer-focused instincts.
  • Well-organized with the ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Adaptable and able to think on your feet.
  • Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Salesforce or other CRM experience is a plus.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
