Systems Engineer - Remote

Overview

The Systems Engineer supports the Enterprise IT Infrastructure platforms and performs daily and weekly defined tasks, including system designs, product assessments, and customer consulting.

In Short

• Supports daily essential tasks such as tickets and onboardings.
• Creates documentation for procedures as requested.
• Works with the IT team to provision hardware, network, storage, telephony, and cloud solutions.
• Provides on-call support and troubleshooting.
• Conducts preventive maintenance and physical server builds.
• Investigates security incidents as needed.
• Collaborates with contracted support resources.
• Adheres to systems architecture and infrastructure requirements.
• Communicates effectively with all levels within the organization.
• Experience with automation is a plus.

Requirements

• B.S. in Computer Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
• 2+ years in a system engineer role or equivalent experience.
• Experience with Office 365 and Azure AD administration.
• Experience designing, deploying, and maintaining cloud infrastructure.
• Proficiency with Powershell.
• Experience with Windows Server operating systems and Active Directory.
• Minimum 5+ years of progressive responsibility within IT.
• Strong troubleshooting skills.
• Technical certifications are a plus.
• Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
