In Short

• Structure, review, draft, redline, and negotiate a wide range of commercial contracts.
• Negotiate contract terms directly with counterparties or through their counsel.
• Provide clear, concise legal guidance to internal stakeholders.
• Ensure contracts comply with applicable laws, regulations, and company standards.
• Utilize internal contract and/or vendor management tools to track and update contract status.
• Collaborate with internal teams to align contract terms with business objectives.
• Temporary contractor position with expected timeframe from late August 2025 through November 2025.

Requirements

• J.D. from an accredited U.S. law school and active license to practice law.
• 4+ years of experience reviewing and negotiating commercial contracts.
• Strong understanding of contract law and key commercial terms.
• Exceptional attention to detail, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Comfort working with cross-functional teams.
• Prior experience in a consumer-facing fintech or regulated financial services environment preferred.
