Overview

The Sales Manager, Central & Southeast Grocery will hold ownership for the key account and independent retailer businesses in their assigned regions, building strong relationships with retailer Category Managers to achieve revenue growth, profitability, and shared goals.

In Short

  • Ownership of key Grocery headquarter relationships and account management.
  • Lead, train, and manage performance of assigned brokers and retail merchandising partners.
  • Forecast and input demand and promotional activity for key customers monthly.
  • Execute new product launch strategy with assigned accounts.
  • Cultivate relationships with distributor partners for strategic growth.
  • Create custom, data-informed selling materials for buyer meetings.
  • Analyze sell-through and distributor level data for business decisions.
  • Identify new opportunities with assigned customers to optimize distribution.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in sales management, preferably in the grocery sector.
  • Strong relationship-building skills with retailers and distributors.
  • Ability to create and execute strategic sales plans.
  • Experience in trade marketing and promotional strategies.
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret sales data.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple accounts.
