Overview

The Senior Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) at Granicus will ensure the reliability, scalability, and performance of our services while leading efforts in building and maintaining a robust infrastructure.

In Short

• Provide on-call production support according to the team on-call roster.
• Work on customer and internal engineering tickets.
• Monitor and maintain systems for high availability.
• Develop and maintain automation scripts and tools.
• Assist in troubleshooting and incident management.

Requirements

• Good understanding of Linux/Unix systems and networking.
• Experience with cloud services (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
• 5+ years of experience in site reliability engineering or similar role.
• Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash, Ruby).
• Advanced knowledge of monitoring and logging tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor teams.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer).
• In-depth understanding of containerization and infrastructure as code.
