PR and Social Media Associate - Remote

Overview

Grafana Labs is seeking a dynamic and strategic PR and Social Media Associate to work closely with our Senior Public Relations Manager and Lead Senior Social Media Manager to amplify our brand narrative and media presence. The ideal candidate will have expertise in media relations, social content strategy, and communications to elevate Grafana's visibility in the tech ecosystem, craft compelling narratives, and strategically position our thought leadership across key industry platforms.

In Short

• Support the Senior Social Media Manager in developing and executing comprehensive social media content and campaigns.
• Assist in publishing and scheduling content across Grafana Labs’ official social media channels.
• Monitor conversations/interactions on social media and engage with community members.
• Assist in managing Grafana Labs’ employee advocacy program.
• Support media relations efforts, including pitching stories and securing press coverage.
• Provide on-site support at company and industry events.
• Help manage and publish Grafana’s award-winning Big Tent podcast.
• Support internal communications coordination.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
• 2-3 years of marketing experience, preferably in social media marketing or public relations.
• Experience leveraging AI tools to enhance creative workflows.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Willingness to travel (~20%) globally.
• Proficiency in Sprout Social, Muckrack, BusinessWire is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new marketing trends.
