GEICO is seeking a highly skilled Staff Engineer with a passion for building high-performance, low maintenance, zero-downtime platforms and applications, especially to optimize and resolve performance issues in our commercial insurance tech platforms.

Requirements

• 6+ years of professional software development experience.
• Fluency in C# .Net and at least one additional modern language.
• Experience with micro-services architecture and REST APIs.
• Experience with continuous delivery and infrastructure as code.
• Strong problem-solving ability.
• Ability to excel in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of security protocols and application monitoring tools.
• Experience with cloud services like AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
• In-depth knowledge of data structures and algorithms.
