Vice President of Credit & Underwriting Strategy - Remote

Overview

The Vice President of Credit & Underwriting Strategy will oversee GoodLeap’s proprietary underwriting engine, ensuring the accuracy, scalability, and auditability of all credit decisioning logic while managing credit policy development and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance or Economics required.
• Master's degree preferred.
• 10+ years in credit policy, underwriting, or consumer credit risk.
• Experience managing credit decision systems.
• Familiarity with capital markets structures.
• Technical aptitude in analytics (SQL/Python a plus).
• Expert with MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Proven leadership in high-growth environments.
