Overview

The Sales Manager for France/Southern Europe will be responsible for developing business at key customer accounts and managing the distribution network across several countries in Europe, leveraging technical and commercial expertise in photonics.

In Short

  • Primary contact for customers, providing presentations and RFQ responses.
  • Support sales and business development with technical understanding.
  • Translate business requirements into technical product specifications.
  • Drive sales opportunities through G&H’s gate process.
  • Identify market needs and assist in sales planning.
  • Manage technical liaison for customer support items.
  • Utilize SalesForce CRM for tracking opportunities.
  • Perform presentations and demonstrations at customer sites and conferences.
  • Expected travel to G&H sites and customer locations (up to 30%).

Requirements

  • BSc or MSc in Physics, Materials Science, Mathematics, or Engineering.
  • MBA/Business Degree is an advantage.
  • 5 years of technical sales or product marketing experience in photonics.
  • Strong understanding of photonics, semiconductor, and laser applications.
  • Knowledge of lasers, optics, and electro-optics is beneficial.
  • Experience in project management and relationship management preferred.
  • Strong commercial acumen and decision-making understanding.
  • Excellent writing and presentation skills.
