Translation Project Coordinator - Remote

Overview

The Project Coordinator oversees document translation projects ensuring timeliness and accuracy of client deliverables. A Project coordinator directs Freelance Linguists and will act as the primary point of contact for existing clients. This is a high-visibility role utilizing technology, people, and processes to deliver world-class services across a wide variety of industries.

In Short

• Schedule and manage Freelance Linguist and vendor-based resources to meet client needs
• Negotiate with linguists on project rates and ensure target margins are met
• Select the appropriate freelance or vendor-based resources for each project and manage them throughout the process.
• File and project documentation management and oversight
• Utilize Company tools and technologies including Wordbee, HQ, HubSpot and Help Desk (part of HubSpot)
• Ensure quality control for project deliverables and take corrective action as needed
• Provide administrative support to Translation management team as directed
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Full working knowledge of MS Office Suite (Word, XLS, PowerPoint)
• Foreign Language skills are a definite plus
• Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office Word and PowerPoint and basic knowledge of Excel
• Experience with Google Docs and Apple/Mac Operating System preferred
• Ability to work independently in a decentralized environment, without the reliance on direct authority

• Demonstrated problem solving and decision-making skills;
