Overview

The Technical Support Representative will respond to technical customer service requests via various communication methods, utilizing databases to resolve inquiries and maintain accurate records.

In Short

  • Respond to technical customer service requests via phone, email, chat, or SMS.
  • Utilize databases to select the best processing method for inquiries.
  • Maintain accurate records of all inquiries and issues handled.
  • Resolve technical support issues related to POS products.
  • Assist clients with technical support issues not covered in documentation.
  • Enter relevant information into databases while resolving customer issues.
  • Develop knowledgebase for new or revised POS products and policies.
  • Interpret policies and compliance regulations.
  • Work with minimal supervision on routine to moderately difficult tasks.
  • Participate in ongoing training and reference online manuals.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent.
  • Typically a minimum of 2 years relevant experience.
  • Preferred: Minimum of 4 years relevant experience.
  • Previous service industry experience is a plus.
  • Substantial understanding of job responsibilities.
  • Basic computer skills required.
  • Ability to develop basic payments industry knowledge.
  • Basic research skills to resolve customer inquiries.
