In Short

• Perform installation, configuration, and maintenance of IBMi servers.
• Upgrade Power Servers and install virtualization tools.
• Implement and support High Availability solutions.
• Provide post-sale technical support and training.
• Monitor and maintain IT infrastructure systems.
• Troubleshoot technical problems independently or collaboratively.
• Administer user accounts and permissions.
• Contribute to continuous service improvement projects.
• Demonstrate technical leadership and collaboration.
• Maintain inventory of installed software and hardware.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience with IBM Power and IBMi systems.
• Knowledge of IBMi hardware and tape libraries.
• Experience with OS upgrades and LPARs.
• Familiarity with IBM VIOS.
• Understanding of system backup and recovery concepts.
• Knowledge of security and logging on IBMi.
• Experience managing data replication and High Availability.
• Strong verbal and technical writing skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects.
• Willingness to learn and adopt new technologies.
