In Short

• Perform administration and maintenance of IBMi servers.
• Support High Availability (HA) solutions.
• Identify and resolve issues following ITSM processes.
• Provide 2nd level technical support to clients.
• Update service tickets in Service Now.
• Work with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Utilize knowledge of IBMi Operating System and software lifecycle.
• Perform regular patch management.
• Install, configure, and maintain Power Servers and associated technologies.
• Achieve and maintain advanced certifications.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in Operations / Support of IBM Power, IBMi systems.
• Proven experience in a customer-supporting role.
• Working knowledge of IBMi hardware and tape libraries.
• Proficiency in OS upgrades installation.
• Experience with LPAR’s and HMC.
• Familiarity with IBM VIOS and SAN infrastructures.
• System backup and recovery concepts knowledge.
• Basic system security and networking concepts.
• Experience managing data replication and IBMi High Availability.
• Ability to create and maintain documentation.
