Systems Administrator - Remote

Overview

Maps Credit Union seeks an experienced Systems Administrator to join our growing Information Technology team. This position plans, designs, and implements new technologies and services for all Windows servers, including designing, installing, configuring, and fine-tuning Windows Operating Systems.

In Short

• Plan, design, implement, test, and support Credit Union business processes, focusing on systems administration and security.
• Administer Active Directory and appropriate group policies for all Credit Union domains.
• Remediate vulnerabilities discovered through quarterly scans.
• Support and maintain information backup technologies.
• Responsible for Azure virtual infrastructure configuration and monitoring.
• Design and document disaster recovery plans for critical systems.
• Evaluate and recommend network systems and processes.
• Provide project leadership in product research and testing.
• Document and monitor the performance of Windows servers.
• Troubleshoot and solve software and network-related problems.

Requirements

• BS/CS degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience with Microsoft Windows Server Operating Systems.
• Solid understanding of DNS, TCP/IP, DHCP, LDAP, and Active Directory.
• Professional experience in technical customer support.
• Must be bondable and submit to an annual background check.
