Operations Manager - People Team - Remote

Overview

We’re hiring an Operations Manager on the People team at Gitpod. This role will report directly to the Head of People and will focus on supporting the operations and compliance side of the People function.

Requirements

• Experience in ambiguous/dynamic companies.
• Background in people operations, compliance, or project management.
• Experience managing multi-state employment compliance.
• Familiarity with HR tools like Deel, HiBob, and Ashby.
• Ability to balance compliance with innovation.
• Strong emotional intelligence and adaptability.
• Evidence of owning programs and projects end-to-end.
• SHRM/PHR certification preferred.
• Experience with international employment compliance.
• Preference for automation in daily work.
