Member of Technical Staff (Cloud Infra/Networking) - Remote

Overview

We're hiring a Member of Technical Staff (Cloud Infra/Networking) at Gitpod to help the world’s largest engineering organizations run Gitpod inside their own cloud.

In Short

• Work remotely or from a private coworking space in NYC.
• Help design, debug, and optimize AWS and GCP network topologies.
• Partner with enterprise platform teams and provide solutions.
• Own network troubleshooting for enterprise customers.
• Design secure cloud network architectures.
• Build tooling and runbooks for future installs.
• Champion customer feedback and influence product roadmap.
• Collaborate with Solutions Engineering and Sales teams.
• Contribute to improving Gitpod’s networking features.
• Participate in onboarding and set up AWS and GCP sandboxes.

Requirements

• Deep experience with AWS and/or GCP networking.
• Strong communication and customer empathy skills.
• Ability to automate tasks and collaborate effectively.
• Expertise in cloud infrastructure or SRE roles.
• Familiarity with Gitpod or similar platforms.
• Comfortable reading logs and troubleshooting issues.
• Certifications are welcomed but not required.
