Overview

The Senior Program Manager of Certifications at GitLab will design, develop, and expand the certification ecosystem, establishing GitLab as the industry standard in DevSecOps certification.

In Short

• Own the design and execution of certification roadmaps.
• Lead development of knowledge-based and performance-based exams.
• Conduct Job Task Analysis (JTA) and create exam blueprints.
• Monitor certification offerings and develop growth strategies.
• Collaborate with engineers and SMEs for content accuracy.
• Utilize AI tools for content generation and assessment.
• Manage content lifecycle and ensure updates align with releases.
• Align certification objectives with business goals.
• Oversee vendor relationships for testing and proctoring services.
• Establish KPIs and track program performance.

Requirements

• Experience growing certification programs at enterprise scale.
• Proven experience in conducting JTA sessions.
• Strong experience in creating exam blueprints.
• Hands-on experience with GitLab CI/CD and DevSecOps workflows.
• Track record in developing performance-based testing.
• Experience leveraging AI for content generation.
• Understanding of test development principles.
• Ability to lead complex programs from conception to execution.
• PMP or similar certification preferred.
• Outstanding communication skills.
