Overview

You will act as a primary point of contact and the face of GitLab for our prospects and customers.

In Short

  • Manage and support GitLab’s major account(s)
  • Manage the end to end sales process through engagement of appropriate resources
  • Leverage solution selling expertise to respond efficiently to customer needs
  • Deep understanding of the customer’s performance metrics
  • Expand knowledge of industry and competitive posture
  • Contribute to root cause analysis on wins/losses
  • Provide account leadership in the pre- and post-sales process
  • Conduct sales activities including prospecting in major accounts
  • Ensure successful rollout and adoption of GitLab products
  • Utilize a consultative approach to develop formal sales proposals

Requirements

  • Experience selling into highly complex organizations
  • Demonstrated consistent results and overachievement of quota
  • Deep understanding of customer’s business trends
  • Expert in solution selling
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Experience with solutions selling and positioning value
  • Deep understanding of Git and Software Development Tools
  • Ability to use GitLab
  • Ability to travel if needed
