Overview

As an Account Executive focused on the utility market, you serve as the revenue engine of our business, driving growth through ambitious sales targets and dedicated customer engagement.

In Short

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for your accounts.
  • Develop and maintain a strong technical understanding of transformer and switchboard products.
  • Gather and analyze customer technical requirements to develop comprehensive quotes.
  • Identify and pursue opportunities to expand business relationships.
  • Own your accounts' P&L statements with a focus on maximizing revenue.
  • Collaborate with Sales Engineers and Product Teams for complex requirements.
  • Leverage established relationships to identify new business opportunities.
  • Maintain an accurate and up-to-date sales pipeline within Hubspot.
  • Stay current on industry trends and provide feedback to Product and Marketing teams.
  • Collaborate with the Finance Team to convert quotes and POs into invoices.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of sales experience in electrical distribution equipment.
  • Experience with investor-owned utilities, municipal utilities, or rural electric cooperatives.
  • Strong technical foundation in electrical systems.
  • Understanding of utility procurement processes.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Experience managing long-cycle utility sales processes.
  • Proficiency with CRM systems, preferably Hubspot.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or related field.
  • Willingness to travel up to 40% for customer meetings.
