Senior Accountant - Remote

Overview

The Senior Accountant will play a key role in managing the day-to-day accounting operations and supporting the month-end close process in a hybrid work environment.

• Manage general ledger and month-end close process.
• Prepare financial statements and internal reports.
• Reconcile bank and investment accounts.
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and financial policies.
• Support annual audits and tax filings.
• Track restricted funds and grant allocations.
• Review journal entries and payroll transactions.
• Partner with teams to provide financial insights.
• Work in a hybrid schedule with one day in office.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 4–6 years of progressive accounting experience.
• Strong understanding of GAAP and fund accounting.
• Experience with accounting software.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Detail-oriented and organized.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• CPA or CPA candidate preferred.
