Senior Accountant - Remote

Overview

This position involves taking responsibility for financial accounting in a leading company in the photovoltaic solutions sector, focusing on process optimization and compliance within a hybrid working environment.

In Short

• Responsible for financial accounting according to HGB, including consolidation and process optimization.
• Conduct monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Act as the central point of contact for tax advisors, auditors, and banks.
• Oversee intercompany reconciliations and ensure transparent structures.
• Ensure tax and legal compliance with high priority.
• Contribute ideas for digitization and reporting.
• Collaborate closely with the commercial director to shape the future of accounting.

Requirements

• Degree in Business Administration, Finance, or Accounting, or certified accountant (IHK).
• At least 10 years of experience in financial accounting with expertise in HGB.
• Familiarity with consolidation and intercompany reconciliations & ERP systems (SAP knowledge is a plus).
• Ideally, experience with corporate or holding structures.
• Desirable: Basic knowledge of IFRS, experience in cost center and project controlling.
• Analytical thinking, attention to detail, clear communication, and willingness to change.
