Senior Accountant - Remote

Overview

Thrive Market is seeking a highly motivated and energetic Senior Accountant to maintain accurate financial records and support the financial close process.

In Short

• Responsible for monthly financial closing activities and account reconciliations
• Perform weekly procedures to reconcile eCommerce activities
• Support the annual audit process
• Lead accountant for Fixed Assets, Payroll, and other accounting tasks
• Contribute to special projects as assigned
• Implement internal controls through policies and procedures
• Create best practice procedures for accounting activities

Requirements

• 3+ years relevant accounting experience, Big 4 experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of GAAP
• CPA or progress towards obtaining license preferred
• Highly proficient in Excel
• Analytical mindset with large data sets
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks
• Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication skills
• Prior experience in e-commerce is a plus
