Overview

The Global Market Intelligence Lead is responsible for leading the development of strategic market and competitive intelligence of global markets to deliver valuable insights to the organization.

• Lead various projects to deliver market insights in support of Geotab’s strategy.
• Navigate internal teams and partner ecosystems to support analysis.
• Perform global market analysis on emerging trends and competitors.
• Own the development of global market & competitive intelligence assets.
• Develop industry and vertical overviews to inform product strategies.
• Collaborate with internal teams to identify opportunities.
• Develop detailed reports and presentations for senior leadership.
• Gather and validate market intelligence with cross-functional teams.
• Assist senior leaders in planning with data-driven insights.
• Research global market trends for regular updates to leadership.

Requirements

• Post-Secondary Degree in Commerce/Economics or a related field.
• MBA or equivalent with a background in business strategy and technology.
• 8+ years experience in strategy, market intelligence or consulting roles.
• Deep knowledge of the telematics / fleet management industry.
• Experience in a technical or engineering organization.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal relationship building skills.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to problem solve.
• Strategic mindset with the ability to pivot as needed.
• Technical competence using software programs like Google Suite.
