Overview

The Application Support Team Lead at Genesis is responsible for leading a global support team that ensures the stability of business applications and addresses client issues effectively.

In Short

  • Lead a shift and team of support analysts.
  • Manage incidents and critical problems during shifts.
  • Provide 1st and 2nd line support for Low-Code Application Platform applications.
  • Liaise between various IT teams and client IT departments.
  • Communicate regularly with clients to provide updates and solutions.
  • Document all activities for future reference.
  • Understand and apply ITIL processes for incident and problem management.
  • Track and monitor hosted platforms using tools like Prometheus and Data Dog.
  • Participate in change management and application upgrades.
  • Contribute to process improvement initiatives.

Requirements

  • Technical-minded with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills for client interactions.
  • Experience in application support and incident management.
  • Familiarity with ITIL processes.
  • Ability to work in a team and lead effectively.
  • Experience with monitoring tools such as Splunk.
  • Knowledge of capacity management.
  • Experience in application upgrades and configurations.
  • Ability to work shifts including weekends and evenings.
  • Understanding of business flows and systems.
