The Plant Metallurgist and Lab Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the metallurgical processes and lab activities, ensuring effective utilization of resources for aluminum casting production in Defiance, Ohio.

Requirements

• Degree in metallurgical engineering, materials science, or related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in metallurgical or casting processes.
• Ability to work all shifts and overtime as needed.
• Thorough knowledge of materials and their characteristics.
• Experience supervising employees in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong problem-solving and continuous improvement skills.
• In-depth experience with materials lab equipment preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders.
