Overview

The Area Sales Associate (ASA) is a developmental field sales role for high-performing sales professionals eager to break into the medical aesthetics industry.

In Short

• Support Territory Growth: Partner with your Area Sales Manager to meet and exceed territory sales goals across capital equipment and consumables.
• Pipeline Development: Research and qualify new prospects; initiate outreach via phone, email, events, and in-person visits to build territory pipeline.
• Customer Engagement: Build authentic relationships with med-spas, dermatology and plastic surgery practices, and luxury spas.
• Sales Enablement: Assist with demos, proposals, and follow-up communication to close deals.
• Consumables Management: Monitor customer reorder patterns and support retention strategies.
• CRM Discipline: Log activity, leads, and updates accurately in Salesforce.
• Event Support: Represent Geneo at trade shows and industry events.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with Marketing, Customer Success, and Operations.
• Continuous Learning: Participate in ongoing training and mentorship.
• This role requires frequent travel within the assigned region (typically 60–70%).

Requirements

• 2+ years of outside or inside sales experience.
• Background in medical device, skincare, pharmaceutical, hospitality, or wellness industries preferred.
• Strong interest in entering the medical aesthetics space.
• Proven ability to prospect, qualify, and develop customer relationships.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
• Comfortable with regional travel (approximately 60-70%).
• Proficient in CRM software and Microsoft Office/Google Workspace tools.
