Staff Ledger Operations Engineer - Remote

Overview

The Staff Ledger Operations Engineer will be responsible for designing data pipelines and automating ETL processes to improve Gemini’s ledger reconciliation processes.

• Mentor engineers while self-managing as an individual contributor.
• Design data pipelines and automate ETL processes.
• Partner with third-party vendors and data teams.
• Maintain and create data adaptors for real-time data processing.
• 7+ years experience with schema design and dimensional data modeling.
• Experience with cryptocurrency data and ledger reconciliation.
• Advanced SQL skills and database design experience.
• Experience with real-time data solutions and reporting.
• Skilled in programming languages Python and/or Java.
• Experience with MPP databases like Redshift, Bigquery, Snowflake.

Requirements

• 7+ years experience with schema design and dimensional data modeling.
• 7+ years with design and implementing a reconciliation system.
• Must have experience with cryptocurrency data.
• Must have experience in trade or ledger reconciliation.
• Must have advanced SQL skills and database design experience.
• Experience building real-time data solutions.
• Experience with FIX, Kafka, REST, and other data messaging types.
• Experience and expertise in Airflow, Databricks, Spark, Hadoop.
• Skilled in programming languages Python and/or Java.
• Experience with one or more MPP databases.
