Solution Architect - Remote

Overview

GDIT is looking for a seasoned technical resource to work closely with our client’s senior leadership to assist OJP in modernizing their existing Enterprise software ecosystem.

In Short

• Identifies solution options and develops solution architecture.
• Works closely with executive Federal leadership and technical staff.
• Prototypes and evaluates custom and third-party solutions.
• Advises on complex solution development and management processes.
• Creates written and graphical content for stakeholders.
• Defines complex solutions that align with client requirements.
• Mentors project teams on strategic solutions.
• Leads performance reviews and scalability assessments.
• Prepares vision and strategy documents and white papers.
• Participates in solution selling activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• 15+ years of business solutions experience.
• Experience with Java/J2EE and modern web development techniques.
• Cloud native application architecture experience.
• Familiarity with containerization solutions like Docker.
• Experience with Agile, DevOps, and CI/CD practices.
• Proficiency in SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Strong communication skills for stakeholder engagement.
• Ability to work independently and lead teams.
• US Citizenship required.
