Senior Software Engineer (Python) - Remote

In Short

• Build and maintain data pipelines that power our business
• Collaborate across disciplines to provide timely and accurate information
• Protect our users’ privacy and security through best practices
• Support data pipelines in production
• Work with tools like Python, AWS, NATS, Terraform, Postgres, ElasticSearch, Redshift, SnowFlake
• 5+ years of industry experience building and maintaining scalable high-quality software
• 3+ years of hands-on experience building data pipelines
• Experience working in a team using Agile methodologies
• Mission-driven and eager to learn
• Excited about researching and working with the latest tools and technologies

Requirements

• Strong Computer Science fundamentals
• Expertise in Python and SQL
• Familiarity with data warehousing
• Experience with back-end APIs and distributed event-driven architectures
• Experience with PostgreSQL
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team
• High sense of ownership
• Ability to design and optimize for the long term
• Willingness to take on challenges
• Passion for ideating on new features
