Membership Manager Africa - Remote

Overview

We are looking for an engaged Membership Manager who brings solid expertise and a passion for FSC’s mission, to work in the region to strengthen membership engagement and to build and maintain relationships with potential new and current members.

In Short

• Develop and lead FSC membership engagement in the region.
• Analyze the membership in the region to identify gaps.
• Identify potential members to strengthen FSC mission.
• Recruit new members and retain existing ones.
• Create and implement outreach strategies.
• Design and implement strategies for high-quality member service.
• Keep members updated on key processes and topics.
• Inform and train members as necessary.
• Develop an engagement plan to increase participation.

Requirements

• University degree or equivalent training in a relevant field.
• At least 5 years of professional experience with outreach and stakeholder relations.
• Experience with international organizations and project teams.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills in English and French.
• Service-oriented attitude.
• Collaborative working style and team building skills.
• Strong networking skills.
• Ability to work in a multi-cultural team.
• Very good verbal and written communication skills.
