We are now expanding our global market presence and seeking a Senior Advisor to drive strategy, funding, and partnerships across ecosystem services markets.

In Short

• Develop and implement FSC’s Ecosystem Services financing strategy.
• Secure funding from various sources including donors and corporates.
• Prepare high-quality proposals and partnership concepts.
• Identify and develop opportunities for PES and natural capital market instruments.
• Support business cases and pricing models for FSC-verified ecosystem services.
• Collaborate with internal teams for aligned global action.
• Create tools and training for the FSC network.
• Monitor global trends in ecosystem services markets.
• Build partnerships with corporates and financial institutions.
• Document success stories and lessons from pilots and partnerships.

Requirements

• Master’s degree or higher in relevant fields.
• 10+ years of experience in resource mobilization or partnership development.
• Expertise in sustainable finance and natural capital markets.
• Experience with ecosystem services markets and conservation finance.
• Strong track record in building partnerships.
• Fluent in English; Spanish or French is a plus.
• Ability to work in a global, multicultural environment.
• Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
• Strategic and analytical mindset.
• Leadership in partnership building and coordination.
