Overview

The Senior HR Generalist (Compensation, Benefits & Compliance) oversees and administers essential HR functions to ensure consistency, compliance, and operational effectiveness across people-related processes. This role serves as a trusted advisor to employees and managers and plays a key role in designing, implementing, and maintaining HR policies, programs, and initiatives.

  • Administer employee benefits programs and lead enrollment processes.
  • Manage retirement plan and compensation review cycles.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws.
  • Provide HR operations support and manage inquiries.
  • Collaborate with internal partners on HR policies and programs.
  • Maintain HR documentation and support audit processes.
  • Contribute to the development of HR initiatives.
  • Support a positive and compliant workplace culture.
  • Work with HRIS systems to ensure data integrity.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in HR or related field.
  • 5+ years of HR experience, particularly in benefits and compliance.
  • Strong understanding of employment laws and HR compliance.
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple responsibilities and prioritize tasks.
  • Experience with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office.
  • Strong attention to detail and effective communication skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism.
  • Preferred: SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certification.
  • Preferred: Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills.
