Account Executive, Business Support & Underwriting - Remote

Overview

The Account Executive, Underwriting & Business Support is responsible for soliciting and obtaining underwriting, sponsorship, advertising, and other revenue from businesses and organizations in support of KEXP and its programs.

In Short

• Produces sales and manages relationships for KEXP Business Support clients.
• Cultivates and maintains relationships with assigned accounts.
• Achieves sales goals as set by Director of Strategic Relations & Business Development.
• Analyzes audience and market research to identify prospective clients.
• Solicits and cultivates new clients through various outreach methods.
• Negotiates advertising packages and pricing.
• Prepares and writes copy for advertising and underwriting.
• Collaborates with various KEXP teams for revenue generation.
• Reviews and approves client billing and pursues payment collection.
• Represents KEXP at community events and meetings.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and three years’ experience in sales or fundraising.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM tools.
• Excellent sales and communication skills.
• Strong self-motivation and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and in teams.
• Commitment to confidentiality and accuracy.
• Valid driver’s license and personal vehicle required.
• Ability to work an irregular schedule as needed.

Benefits

• Annual salary of $90,000 - $100,000.
• Additional incentive pay potential of $25,000 per year.
