Overview

The HR Assistant provides essential administrative and operational support to the Human Resources department, ensuring smooth and efficient HR processes. This role assists with onboarding, offboarding, employee engagement activities, performance management, and general HR administration.

In Short

  • Maintain onboarding packets and documentation for compliance.
  • Manage new-hire communications and training schedules.
  • Update employee personnel files for accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Process termination paperwork and respond to unemployment claims.
  • Assist with compliance documents and annual projects.
  • Conduct new hire Check-Ins, stay interviews, and exit interviews.
  • Support the performance review process with scheduling and documentation.
  • Maintain organized performance records.

Requirements

  • HR or administrative experience, preferably in onboarding or performance management.
  • Familiarity with HRIS or payroll systems.
  • Ability to work from home and manage multiple deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
