Field Service Engineer - Remote

In Short

• Schedules and provides technical training to distributor personnel, contractors, dealers, and/or installers.
• Tests and troubleshoots Franklin Electric products. Supervises and assists at product installations.
• Promotes and represents Franklin Electric products and programs at tradeshows and special events.
• Collects and reports marketing information pertaining to competitive products and customer needs.
• Writes and submits weekly reports highlighting problems at specific sites or with certain products.

Requirements

• Three to five years of related water systems or industry experience (preferred).
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• Travels 70 percent of the time, including up to 50 percent overnight travel.
• Effectively communicates information and responds to questions in person-to-person and small group situations.
• Writes reports, business correspondence, and policy/procedure manuals.
